I’ve just moved in with one of my friends who’s a tattoo artist and has the most amazing book collection EVER! I don’t even know where to look! we had a conversation about illustration and what we used to read when we were kids and she took this book out. This is some pretty amazing/insane book, illustrated by Alan Aldridge. Snails wear hats, squirrels period dresses and feathers, caterpillars with pig masks…

there are still people who make beautiful illustrations. i just love this.
